If you've been financially impacted by COVID-19 and need help paying rent or your BC Hydro bill, here are some resources for you:

The BC government has placed a moratorium on evictions for renters in apartments run by BC Housing for those in either affordable and subsidized housing.

Customers are encouraged to call BC Hydro's customer team at 1 800 BCHYDRO (1 800 224 9376) to discuss bill payment options.

In May, the BC Emergency Benefit for Workers will pay a one-time $1,000 payment for people in BC receiving federal EI or the new federal Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB). Applications for the one-time payment will open soon: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/employment-business/covid-19-financial-supports#BCEBW
